Welcome.... to REBBE's GUITARPAGE v.6.0
Decibel poster3rd of February 2010: Happy new year and all that. Nice that you stop by my site (again?). Had a little "vacation" from touring and playing geetar in general because I hurt my shoulder in early december 09. It was really strange to be unable to play. Depressing, but now I am back on track and recording and gigs are at the table again:)
Been kind of nice to be of the guitarwagon as well. I am very motivated to both play and practice these days. Can't wait to get back in the saddle.
Three DECIBEL gigs lined up this february. 19 at Sunndalsøra, 20 at Oppdal and 27 in Oslo. Looking forward to them!
Later!

Decibel poster14th of October 2009: Been around since the last update. Did some studio sessions at Vestlandet and finished up all the basic tracks for the "Peer for alle" project.
I actually wrote a whole bunch of  tunes in this period as well. I cherish those creative periods.
Gigs coming up now: First with DECIBEL at Rushys Saloon in Sunndalsøra the upcoming weekend. (Eeeh, even before that I will go down to Dølajazz in Lillehammer Thursday 15th)
After that it's a studio weekend THEN off to trubadurfestivalen in Alta. That will be a blast for sure!
Hope life treats you well. Until next time.

At the office:) Picture taken during the rehearsals for Peer Gynt For Alle, aug -0924th of September 2009: Had a blast in Arendal. Great to be back at Barrique again. Met old friends and some new friends. And both Ronny and Kelly delivered as =)(//&. What a great rythm section!
The event gig(s) with Rasmus was also great fun. I really want to do more gigs like this! Thanks to Oddbjørn for hiring us. We are already looking forward to the next event and what crazy stunts you pull then.
Recording, recording, recording! I am working LONG hours in my studio these days. Recording tracks for Malte. Good to be in studio modus. Have several projects lined up now, so its going to be lots of studiowork this fall. LOVE IT!
Some more live dates confirmed with my DECIBEL trio. Looking forward to play with these cats again. More on this later.
Off to Bergen and Vestlandet next week. Hope to get some great hangs and jams while over there.

Enjoying life:)17th of September 2009: Off Recorded a new version of my old tune "Without You". Re-recorded and arranged the song. Think it came out pretty well:) Cool to work on vocal arrangements. Lots of fun. Did all the instruments and vocals myself this time. Check it out on my Myspace page. www.myspace.com/rebbestad .
Off to Arendal this weekend. I hope to meet many companeros down there and have some good times on stage with some killer musicians!
Getting more requests for studio work nowadays. I like that! Great to be able to create new music in my own studio and other studios. Many musical adventures ahead in that departement.
Regarding live gigs: in addition to the gigs already booked, there are some TBA's in motion regarding my and Justin Surdyns project. I will post more details on this project later.
OK, that was it for now. Hope to see you in Arendal this weekend. Will be lots of fun:)

With Tina Lie12th of September 2009: Had some busy weeks recording. Not really that much news on what I've done since the last update. Still working hard on the Peer Gynt soundtrack and done some more tracks on Ian Hoopers upcoming CD.
Other than that, it seems that I'll get some gigs with my old friend Kurt Ivar Strøm this autumn. Several gigs TBA but we have a couple of gigs at Trubadurfestivalen in Alta nailed. 5 - 7th of November.
Next weekend I will go to Arendal for a couple of gigs with my homies Ole Kelly and Ronny (friday) and my soul brother Rasmus Solem (saturday). Looking forward to gig with these exeptional musicians.
Until next time:)

Lookin' at ya1st of September 2009: Updating a website on a regular basis is not easy. My site is a good example here. Again, sorry for the lack of updates. Facebook, Myspace etc. takes its toll. Enough said. I will try to keep a more busy pace on updates from now on.
Been busy giggin' since the last update. Had a lot of great gigs, busy gigs, fun gigs and "work" gigs. You know how it goes. It's been a big variety in type of gigs. Rock gigs with Smoking moon dandy, Decibel, Ekspeditørene, Boys Voice and Geggen. Orchestra gigs with Peer Gynt and Peer Gynt Night, Blues/roots gigs with Tina Lie and Geggen, Jazzy gigs with Justin/Lena etc. Etnic gigs in Turkey etc. Too many to mention right now.
Lots of things going on studio-wise now. Recording "Peer Gynt for alle", written by Malte Winje (17 songs!!) and recording guitars for all tracks on Ian Hoopers upcoming CD.
Thats all for now. Please check in for updates. Keep the faith:)

My new studio4th of February 2009: Been a while since the last update. Lots of stuff's been going on since then. Christmas and new years eve came and went as did some gigs since december as well. Still having a blast with the jamsessions at Kolonialen. We did a "country" evening the 23rd of january. Great fun, great musicians and a great and appreciative crowd. I enjoy these jam sessions.
I also played a jazz gig (standards etc.) with Ida Rønshaug, Vegard Moshagen and Geir Åge Johnsen. I am still kind of new to this stuff, but it grows on me and I grow musically doing it.
Last but not least. I had a ball being a featured guest with FossaJazz Big Band. Did 6 tunes with them. 2 of my own arranged by Lena Lien which sang and played guitar, 2 tunes which i only sang at (That was a new one!) and two instrumentals which I teared up my guitar for. We got great reviews and good vibes after the gig. Good crowd also. Hope I get the opportunity to repeat this experience. Great fun!!!
Next jam session at Kolonialen are at friday the 13th this month. NOT superstitious! Open theme this time. Come and play!

On these guitarpages you will ONLY find music related stuff, and of course, mostly information related to my musical activities, MP3 files, lessons, band & projects info, info about my studio and much more.
